A few things to know before you start: bring a reference photo or a piece of clothing you want copied. "I want something smart" leads to very different results than "I want this exact cut." The fabric quality varies a lot by shop — cheaper quotes often mean synthetic blends. If you care about material, ask to see swatches before committing. The most common mistake is rushing: ordering on arrival day and picking up the next morning gives no room for adjustment. Build in at least 2–3 days and do a fitting. If you only have one day, stick to simple pieces (a linen shirt, a basic pair of trousers) where fit tolerance is more forgiving.

Motorcycle repair and maintenance shops (tiệm sửa xe) are found on almost every street in Da Nang and Hoi An. Common services: tire repair, oil change, brake adjustment. Costs are low (50k-200k VND for most repairs). English may be limited; Google Translate helps.
